Hi everyone.
Good night..
On this occasion tonight I want to share some pictures of Walang Sangit to #hivestockimage. Walang Sangit in scientific language is also called Leptocorisa oratorius Fabricius
Walang sangit is a type of insect, usually during the rice harvest season after these insects move or migrate to people's homes at night. I saw a lot of these insects in bright lights. There are lights on people's houses or lights that are around the road. However, the moment I got was different, I found this walang sangit in a small forest close to my house (garden)
When I approached this insect, it emitted a very strong odor. Maybe he felt threatened by my existence. In his mind I might catch him. In addition to emitting an unpleasant odor to keep us away, this insect has its own uniqueness both in terms of shape and daily life. From the story of rice farmers, walang sangit is their main enemy because it destroys farmers' rice. The physical form that I have seen is that it has a light and dark green color, has six long legs, two hind legs that appear longer and larger, two in the middle and two close to the eyes, two antennae and two eyeballs.
To see more clearly about this post. Here I show some pictures about the walang sangit:
