Sketch takes care of shapes of leaf and the veins. Few marks to keep the ripples in mind

Process

First wash is a yellow tone setting up some highlight of water.. wanted to bring in a warm setting light. It didn't come up as wished later on.

Started painting the leaf details first.. the near one needs to have more.. so base layer of yellow and orange . Later a tinge of green and brown .. some dry brush strokes to give texture.

The water nearby is done later.. and when it moved up it's lighter so to feel the light.

The second leaf is done wet on wet to make it blurry and give submerged feel.
