Drawing boat after few days. This one has been on my radar for few months now but looked a bit difficult. The colour of water has to be a neat wash and then the plants are in the middle. Masking fluid would have come handy but I don't like to use that. So has been quite tricky navigating through maintaining paper white in grass areas . Forgot to take photo of sketch.. remembered after half an hr of work.
Completed the Lilly leaves and grass on banks in the one below. Lilly was the challenge for me which kept me away from painting this. I tend to loose their shape while painting. So took some time to complete this.
I think my concentration span has increased greatly now I am painting for 2hrs stretch with ease. Was hard to complete one hr paintings when I started couple of years back.
Messed up the far banks of the lake so I cropped it out 😋
