After a long time I painted a landscape hills today.. the hill river green kind of painting, which used to be my default goto stuff when I started painting 😁

Sketch

Started with a very light sketch.. horizon and hills and the river to be marked.

Sky is cerulean blue and with little cobalt to the nearest part.. then painted the hills next. Little purpler and ultramarine blue and green and burnt seinna to it.

Painted the second hill after this dried.. with more sap green and ultramarine blue.. also some yellow to the brighter areas.

The right side is little warmer as there is light so used warm tones of green and cooler tones in left side bank where it's shade.. finally stones with mix of purple and brown and Payne's grey.

The river water also starts as pale blue and then ends up dark towards the near with few ripples in it.

The near area didn't come good as expected. Could have done better
