It's just 4 days but I feel I haven't painted for months. I painted a beautiful Bougainville pot on Sunday and then the one before that was two days before that.. a Bougainville .. that started as a scribble and then I still don't count it as a painting.

I had to paint today and I didn't know what to.so I took this small 9x12 block of Waterford cold press paper and started searching for subjects online. After an hour I found one i thought I can paint. It was a lone Impala in orange light. So that was today's motivation.

But then my ideas ran wild while I painted and finally this was the result.

I didn't have any sketches this time. That's not how I planned to work this year. But today is a off case.. need to break that painting barrier. So l can forgive myself for being lazy here.
