Yesterday I wanted to paint a sunset and it ended up being the cow painting.. so Today it had to be a sunset.
I have an exhibition coming up in August and that needs larger size so I tried this on a half sheet and hoped if it comes up good could be one for the event.

Not much to sketch in this one.. marking the horizon and the outlines of the hills.. the flowers could have been drawn better
Painting sky first with very pale opera pink and manganese blue and orange towards the horizon, the near side is orange and gold red on left with tones of blue and violet on right
Far hills in blue and violet and various greens for the hills.
