Haven't painted butterfly for long time. I had this painting in my mind but wasn't confident enough.
So last week I tried a similar one just to prepare for it. It wasn't the butterfly I was worried about, but getting the sunset and the sun correct.
This came out ok.. may be butterfly became little too dark

Slowly getting the knack of getting details in the textured paper.. need lot of patience and a loaded brush ☺️

Nothing much in the sketch, butterfly outline and two twigs rest all will flow with the water and colour 😁
