My memorable Christmas memory comes from the time when I and my family gathered together to celebrate Christmas, it was a very good time before I was around family, that day was a good day because there was also enough food and drinks to eat making everyone have a full stomach..
That Christmas day began with a prayer said by everyone in the house, I and my family had traveled to the village with our daughter then my son was not yet born, and in our culture, it was a normal thing for the wife of the family to be in charge of mostly everything going on in the house, we had quite a lot things to make and cook.
That day I had woken up early and started breakfast for everyone that was my duty, it wasn't a burden I was happy doing it. I was so happy that I made breakfast and everyone was their full and after that I started preparing the main meal of the day which was fried rice and chicken, my mom in law didn't allow me to do the whole cooking she joined me to prepare in the kitchen and soon food was ready.
The food was one part I loved so much, after a while I and the rest of the family decided I visit some places in the village, we visited many fun places and it was also a good thing because we all had time to bond well, and so we decided to have a picnic at one of the parks that offered a relaxation center, the kids were able to gave so much fun and we the adult also did and it was a good time.
You know Christmas is one of the best time to have ice cream, it was an amazing ice cream treat, everyone had one to eat, something about this day is that since this celebrated Christmas, I have never stopped thinking about it.
Many of us were not satisfacfied with the food we are at the park and so we cooked another meal as soon as we got home and it was another fantastic meal of "Semo and Melon soup".it was the best soup I have ever tasted, I asked my husband why his mom's food was way delicious than our.
I didn't find out the secret of the meal but I ate something delicious and remembered it for day and it's a day I will never forget.
So this Christmas try to look for somewhere or somepeople who would make you have a good time and make up
