inflation is way higher

This is absolutely true, not in some conspiracy way. For example, US and UK have Truflation, a way more accurate and daily depiction of inflation. UK gov claims 8% while the reality is over 13%

Not sure if portugal has a similar website or resource but I would be very surprised if the gov didn't fudge the numbers here and there, omit certain things and use dodgy methodology as the UK has demonstrably been proven to be doing.

Doesn't seem to be much any country is doing about it though. Just kinda accepting it lol
