I got a few more coming up from this overall trip (not traveling that far JUST for a wedding lol) and its all positive! I definitely have a more generally dismal outlook when it comes to the politics, which can't even escape the wedding... Example, all the children were brought up on stage lined up, and asked to recite like... the 16 rules of Xi jinping's journey to prosperity or some shit... at a wedding! So cringey.

But... That aside and it's just so nice to see at least some traditions and family values have survived an otherwise cold, hyper-capitalist nationalist existence - one thing I struggle more with each passing day to say about the West, unfortunately.

So yeah, positive posts coming up only!
