It's in the name - MID-life! I doubt I'll get far beyond 78!
It's really nice to see what you look like.
There's already quite a few pics and videos of me somewhere deep in the hive if you look hard enough haha.
how you have shaken off some shackles to live life.
This is an ongoing process but I'm definitely getting there. Realising there's not really that much time to mess about floating nowhere is quite helpful even if it's a bit anxiety-inducing.
2 years ago I was ripping stand-up paddle board surfing and now I can barely walk around the block.
This must have felt so sudden! Immediately hooked me to go search your page - admittedly I don't spend as much time here as I used to - and came across this instead - what a great life! If I had wrecked knees from a lifetime of being super cool, I'd be pretty content with it XD
But yeah it's the inevitable decline I've seen in certain sedentary relatives that has kicked me into gear with strength training to prevent things like osteoporosis, dementia (something like a 60% decline with strength training somehow??) and so fort. Trying to nip it in the bud before it's too late - although the doctors say it's never too late.
