I'm much more forgiving than you... I go to marvel films knowing full well I'm about to sit through 3 hours of garbage, but come out having enjoyed the experience anyway.

With that being the norm now, 1917 really felt like it shined through all that mud, and a few inconsistencies aren't going to take that away when new movies worth their weight in salt are so hard to come by (Joker... anything else from 2019??)
