There was a celebrity in China who died after getting cancer. Refused treatment and instead went with TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) like acupuncture and cupping.

Shockingly, it didn't work. By the time she and her family was like 'ok maybe we should try western treatment', it had already metastasized beyond redemption. I think she was like 23 when she died.

This bad advice social media world we live in has massive life-losing consequences. Even if just 0.001% of people accidentally kill themselves from bad advice, that's a LOT of death, and even more crippling or botched sureries or any other number of irreversible issues.

It's all so dumb. Personally, I've learnt to embrace that nothing is easy, and enjoy the fact. It feels more accomplishing when a hard thing is done. The second something online makes something sound easy, I'm scrolling right past. Even if they truly did discover this new, unknown trick that doctors don't want you to know, I'm uninterested =)
