Don't be so sure. I mean, obviously Putin is going to die at some point. But I don't think Putin is alone in his thoughts and everyone in his regime is shamefully obeying. I'm pretty sure he has a firm grasp. Even when Medeveyveeyeve (sp) was in power, Putin functionally was.

When Putin goes, somebody rather similar will fill the void. I hope that's totally wrong, but I wouldn't count on it
