On a hot Thursday in August. . .
in my tiny fishing town of 3,000 year-rounders, 90,000 glittery visiters flock, for the Carnival Parade.
it's a day for shameless dress up & play.
and for those of us that really live here, the celebrations haven't gotten old !
this years theme was "Mardi Gras by the sea" -- originally I thought this was a pretty lame theme compared to some I LOVED from the past (ie. "candy land" 2015):
but the costumes were so SILLY and so FUN and we just had the best day 馃挏
drinking margaritas and frozen ros茅 ("fros茅")
and ending my night like all others -- slingin za.
that's all! -- I've been working like a crazy person all week.
