Today is very sunny, the sky is not cloudy and looks very beautiful. Today is March 16, 2022, a very special day for me on a beautiful trip, I was on holiday in activities and I went for a walk to a place that has a beautiful view. Now that many tourist attractions have been visited, in the past, tourist attractions have started to be quiet because of the Covid-19 which has affected the world, and now I am very grateful that tourist attractions have started to reopen. Officials in the ministry have reopened tourism as before the Covit outbreak that we have seen before. I took a trip to a beautiful place, this area is in Aceh Province, as we know, Aceh also has many beautiful tourist attractions, such as Sabah tourism which is already famous for its beauty, then the beauty at the top of Mount Geurutee which has extraordinary natural beauty. like in the picture that I share this. The peak of Mount Gurute is one of the mountains that has extraordinary beauty, the gateway mountain for Aceh Jaya Regency, if we depart from Banda Aceh City to Meulaboh City we have to pass this mountain, this mountain is also the border between Aceh Besar Regency and Aceh Regency. Jaya, when we enter this mountain, it means that we have started to enter the Aceh Jaya area.
Aceh Jaya is one of the regencies that is very rich with its natural beauty, because in this area it has very beautiful natural preservation. Aceh Jaya also has small islands that are very in the middle of the sea, on small islands very much visited by visitors who do picnics. In the past, Aceh Jaya district did not yet exist, they were still merged with Aceh Bara district, West Aceh the capital was Meulaboh. After the pemekaran with the district of West Aceh, the district of Aceh Jaya was independent with its government. I did a very long trip to Mount Gurute, from where I live to the top of Mount Geurutee it is about 250 KM, on the way we can see some beautiful places and look very good scenery. After the tsunami the road to this place was destroyed, then after that the access road to this mountain was rebuilt by the local government and also assistance from various parties. During the Tsunami, some of the trees at the foot of the mountain died with a very powerful Tsunami. The journey to Mount Geurutee has a narrow road access, because to build a road here it costs a lot because some of the mountains here are very hard rocks. Some of the roads were made by the Germans, they made them by having very sophisticated tools, the way they made them was by placing bombs on the mountain, until the rock was partially destroyed, then only to be re-wetted with heavy equipment. People who cross this road always take the time to stop at Mount Geurutee to enjoy the scenery.
We have seen a picture at the top of Mount Geurutee which is very extraordinary, before we go any further I also write a little about the ins and outs of this beautiful mountain. Mount Geurutee is one of the mountains in the western part of Nehara Indonesia, more precisely this mountain in the Aceh Province area. In Aceh Province, there are many tourist attractions, both natural attractions that are very stunning. The peak of Mount Geurutee is one of the tourist attractions that travelers from various countries seek to enjoy the beautiful charm from the top of this mountain.
For friends from various countries who want to visit Mount Geurutee, you can start the journey from the airport in the center of the provincial city, namely Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport, then just travel overland by spending about 1.5 hours to the top of Mount Geurutee. The direction to the location of this mountain is through Banda Aceh to Meulaboh. What is even more interesting for visitors to the top of Mount Geurutee is that there is no charge, Kuta does not require a ticket, visitors only need to spend money to usually eat by themselves. If you want to visit this beautiful tourist spot, you can come anytime, this place is open 24 hours, you can enjoy it anytime or whenever you have time for friends. But if friends come at night, it seems less happy because they can't see its perfect beauty, on the top of Mount Geurutee we can also see a very beautiful sunset or sunrise.
When friends want to visit Nanggroe Aceh Darusallam, going to the top of Mount Geurutee is an opportunity for you to see various interesting destinations as we have seen above. This tourist spot is visited by many young people and also visited by many families, at the top of the mountain we can rest with traveling friends or with family. In addition to seeing the beautiful scenery here we can also do various activities such as taking photos, drinking while hanging out with friends or family, even at the top of this mountain we can see various monkeys in the trees. I once relaxed here then a monkey came, the monkey came near where I was sitting, I could see it clearly, but the monkey was not dangerous, said the seller there. I went for a walk to the top of Mount Geurute with my girlfriend, we traveled about 1.5 hours from where I picked up my girlfriend, because I picked up my girlfriend at her house which is close to Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport.
From the city of Banda Aceh to the top of Mount Geurutee, you have to pass through two mountains, namely Mount Paro and Mount Kulu. These two mountains also have extraordinary beauty, so if we go to the top of Mount Geurutee, before we get to the top we also enjoy a very beautiful natural charm. In the journey we enjoy various beauties that look very perfect and can see with a wide view. The road here on the left is a mountain and on the right we can see the vast ocean of the Indian Ocean. There are lots of trees on the side of the trip which is very heppy, on the way we can also see monkeys in the trees, some visitors when they see monkeys stop to give food to monkeys in the area. The mountains in this area are a bit rocky so they are not suitable for developing agricultural potential. As I can see here, there is a lot of land, but the people don't plant young plants, there are wild plants. But on the nearby beach here, there are people who make shrimp ponds, and I think it is very suitable for fishery potential.
Several years before I heard the news that the local government wanted to build a tunnel on the Mount Geurutee road, but so far it has not worked. For example, if there is a tunnel on the Mount Geurutee road, this seems very good, to make it easier for traffic to go to Meulaboh city and also to other districts on the west side of Aceh.
On the way I saw a river with very clear water, the water in the river can show the shadow of the mountains around me, I stood on the bridge to take 3 pictures of this river. This river is fed by water from the mountains then this river empties into the sea. In this river there are also many people who fish, local people say in this river there are also many big fish, both fish that live in brackish water or fish that live in fresh water.
On the way we can see the beauty of the mountain almost and perfectly. The beautiful panorama of the mountains on the way to the top of Mount Geurutee is very entertaining for visitors, like my trip on this sunny day, I can see the beauty of the mountain with the sky that is so harmonious. In the mountainous area that I want to show, here it is still close to community settlements, this is located in Lhoong sub-district, Aceh Besar district, from here to the top of Mount Geurutee it is not too far away. Community activities in this area are farmers and fishermen, because this place is close to the mountain in the sea. Lhoong is the farthest sub-district of Aceh Besar Regency, this sub-district is directly adjacent to the peak of Mount Geurutee or directly adjacent to Aceh Jaya Regency. On the way, I often stop at places that have beauty, my goal is to stop so I can get beautiful pictures on my journey. The area around this place is very beautiful which is surrounded by mountains and the ocean is wide and beautiful. We can judge that nature is very beneficial for the residents in this area, they can enjoy fresh air away from the noise of the city, they can also carry out various activities in large areas. We can see a lot of green trees growing in the forest, in this area people are very concerned about nature conservation, so that they can live in a friendly manner with the environment. For people who live in this area, if they want to shop like small shopping, here there is their own market, namely the Lhoong market, but for shopping that has a high value, they have to travel to Banda Aceh City, which has to go through two pergunangan.
