Hello friends, This is
@mmiya from #Bangladesh.
Dear Hive enthusiasts, we often come across various types of spiders in different places. Most spiders weave webs—which can be quite beautiful—primarily to capture prey; they feed on the insects that get trapped in these webs. There are many species of spiders whose specific names we may not know, often simply referring to them all as "spiders."
The spider I am sharing with you today does not weave webs. It is known as a "jumping spider" and belongs to the family of spiders that move by leaping. These spiders are remarkably beneficial in paddy fields; they jump around and hunt down harmful insects, thereby protecting the rice crops. I managed to capture two photos of this spider before it leaped away to another spot, after which I could no longer find it.
