These wild turkeys reside at the Calgary zoo. They live in an open-concept area, able to roam freely and intermingle with people and other birds. When they want to, they can actually run up to 40 km/hour and also fly in short bursts, reaching up to 90 km/hour. In the wild at night they will sleep in trees to help avoid predators.
