I heard this bird call high above on the tallest tree, where it sat singing its song. I had a Nikon 200-500mm telephoto lens with me, and I still had to crop these in to get a closer look. This is the first one I have seen, and it moved from one tree to another, which fortunately was a bit closer but still quite high up. Its song was one long note repeated again and again, like a whistle, and when I'm out looking for wildlife I find the birds singing is what helps me find them most often.
