Some people will waste your time and still act as if nothing happened.

I have been looking for an apartment for the past few days, and today I planned to check out one with a house agent.

This man was the one who gave me the time and location to meet him. Since he sounded serious about it, I tried my best to get there on time. I got there this morning and waited for him.

Five minutes passed. Ten minutes passed. I never knew I was going to stand there for almost an hour.

The most annoying part was that every time I called him, he would tell me he was very close.

"Don't worry, I'm almost there." Sometimes, he would even say I would see him in the next two minutes. I kept waiting.

Two minutes turned to ten minutes, ten minutes turned to thirty minutes, and before I knew it, I had waited for over an hour!

At this point, I didn't even know whether to be angry or just laugh.

I mean, this was the same person who gave me the time and location. I made an effort to get there on time because I took the appointment seriously, only for him to keep me waiting like that.

What annoyed me the most was that he could have simply told me he had another engagement or that he was going to be late.

I would have understood. At least, I could have used that time to do something else instead of standing at a junction, waiting for someone who kept promising to arrive in the next two minutes.

Honestly, I don't understand why some people always do this, they find it difficult to be straightforward.

If you're busy, just say you're busy. If you can't make it on time, let the other person know. It's not that difficult, instead of wasting someone else's time.

The fact that someone is looking for a house doesn't mean their time is no longer valuable.

I have my own things to do too, and I believe my time deserves the same respect I give to other people's time.

The most annoying part is that he ended up rescheduling, with so many reasons I couldn't even comprehend, well I'm done with him after going through that stress today.

House hunting is already stressful enough. I didn't know I would have to add waiting for an agent who kept saying he was almost there, while he's still at home, to the experience. Such a hectic day.
