Honestly, talking about my purpose, the truth is that, I haven't still landed. I'm still figuring things out. I know what I want for myself, but finding a way to achieve it has been the challenging part. Sometimes, I wish I could see a clear path ahead of me, one that would show me exactly what to do and how to get to where I want to be. But life doesn't always work that way.
One of my biggest dreams is to become financially independent and build a successful online business. I want to create something of my own, something that can grow through my ideas, creativity, and hard work. I want to reach a point where I can comfortably take care of myself, support the people who matter to me, and make decisions without having to worry so much about money.
For me, financial independence means more than just having money in my account. It means having choices. It means being able to handle my responsibilities without constantly feeling pressured by financial limitations. It means having the freedom to pursue the things I love and the confidence that comes from knowing I'm building something for myself.
I want to build on a thing or two, not necessarily jack of all trade and master of none.
This is one of the reasons I've been exploring different opportunities online. I've tried creating content, writing, and learning about ways to build an online presence. Sometimes, I get excited about an idea and imagine what it could become. I picture the possibility of growing something meaningful from the little I have today. But having an idea and turning it into something successful, has been challenging, as it requires a lot of work, patience, and learning involved
The truth is, it hasn't always been easy. There are times when I put effort into something and don't see the results I hoped for. Sometimes, I wonder whether I'm doing the right thing or whether I should be trying something different. I see how quickly things seem to work out for some people, and I can't help wondering when my own efforts will begin to produce the results I'm looking for.
However, I've come to understand that wanting something badly doesn't mean the journey will be straightforward. Sometimes, you have to learn new skills, make mistakes, try different approaches, and start again when something doesn't work. It can be frustrating when you don't know which step will finally take you closer to your goal, but I believe there is still value in learning along the way.
When I think about the question of whether I'm living my own dreams or simply living according to other people's expectations, I realise that I'm still working towards the life I want. I haven't reached my destination yet, but I know I don't want to spend my life following a path simply because it is what people expect of me.
Of course, the opinions of my family, friends, and other people can influence me sometimes . Sometimes, their expectations come from a place of love and concern. They want me to be safe, comfortable, and successful. But what happens when the life they consider successful is different from the life we genuinely want for ourselves?
I believe there is a difference between listening to advice and allowing other people's opinions to determine every decision we make. We can learn from the experiences of others without surrendering our own dreams. We can appreciate their concerns while still giving ourselves permission to explore possibilities they may not fully understand.
For me, building an online business is one of those possibilities. Not everyone may understand why I spend time creating content or trying to grow something on the internet. From the outside, it might seem like I'm spending time on something that hasn't produced enough results yet. But I know what I'm hoping to achieve, and I know why I keep trying.
I'm not saying that every idea I have will work or that success is guaranteed. I'm simply willing to explore what is possible rather than abandon my dreams because the results haven't come yet.
