I read a post that talked about how working in your comfort zone and working under someone,have their own experiences and lessons to learn from, 8am-5pm Work Life authored by @Winarobert. Experience truly is the best teacher and thus, you can't have a taste of it,if you decide to remain at a particular level, state or place.
Let's look into a particular area... #Travelling.
So I'm not a big fan of travelling from one location to another at least not by land, it's quite exhausting. The road trips are usually boring for me.
Well that's not the subject for the day.
If you desire to think outside the box,learn, discover new things or see a different view of life, you have to either travel or read wide. Well I think travelling is great too.
🌠Big aspirations are sometimes not achieved because of lack of knowledge or exposure and this restricts one from thinking outside the box or seeing a bigger picture
I recently discovered that travelling really helps in opening our minds and exposes us to certain things we do not have knowledge about.
Certain people make sacrifices to embark on some trips not because it's convenient for them at that moment but because they are aware of what they stand to learn, opportunities they will encounter and networking with different people from other parts of the world just by embarking on that trip.
Many times, people spend huge amount of money to travel for conferences,seminars and meetings that would cause a change in their lives either in the nearest future or that moment.
Travelling exposes our minds to things that our teachers could not put into our heads. We meet people who inspire us just by sharing a bit of themselves, ideas or history with us. Also your travel history builds up too. When you travel often, you gradually retain new things, pictures, places in our heads. Sometimes one can boldly contribute into a conversation concerning a certain subject as a result of one trip.
Travelling not only widens your mind and increases your knowledge base,it also creates an avenue for fun. It is not all about work most times. Humans tend to link memories to their emotions, so these fun things can be remembered easily. That's why a trip to Paris or Bahamas would always be remembered even after so many years. The universe has a lot of beautiful places and features and landscapes. Travelling gives you the opportunity to see all of this and understand the world better.
Understanding this helps in the growth process of life..
