As thick as the blood that engulfs this heart of mine is
Yet even those who have sin in their eyes could see through the thickness
My motives came with no harm
Crystal clear was my heart also
I wish you read deeply in between the lines
Now solitude rests with me
As tears tries to wash away the dirt
And stain that is being disposed deep inside
Picking up the pieces of the glass
I look through them to find that I
Who once had a beautiful soul
Now I see it drip as a result of this deep cut
I worshipped at that feet of yours
Adorned you with emeralds
Clothed you with this obsession that was made from no harm
Guess your delivery angel dropped the wrong parcel at first
Trying to fix the mistake of another
Even though I could see no appreciation
In those charming eyes of yours
I still choose to continue the journey
Which I knew might have thorns at the end
Then again, thorns can always be removed or cut out
If only I knew
That your heart was already sold out to pain and hatred
Even though you were once purchased with beauty and grace
Now gone is my beautiful soul with you
Yet I can feel it struggling to return
For my love that can be worn by someone else.
