His framework was naked and the scars told their own stories too
Yet they turned deaf ears to his plea once again
Like the last time, he was left to listen to the unpleasant music his tummy played
Yet he slept like a king with no worries about the next day but still wished
Liberty stared at him every day with fulfilling promises
Yet he feared that he might be tied upside just like the last time he tried taking the key to liberty
He still sketched out the images in his head and beautiful things that surrounded him
Yet only his eyes saw them everyday
A talented, smart and hardworking child he was
Yet his efforts and good yields were never appreciated
He prayed and asked when would he ever be revered and given to him what he truly belonged to him
Yet he wasn't sure if anyone could hear his cries for there was no forth coming angel
Another whip to his back came with a scream and blood traces
Yet the punisher's heart was as hard as stone
This crime he was punished for, he knew not anything about it and cried out to speak so that he could be redeemed
Yet every stroke shut up him and left deep marks
The tears in his eyes said the truth
Yet carried pain
He slumped. If no one will come to my rescue
And see the beauty my hands created
Why not take the easiest route to liberty and peace.
HE SHUT HIS EYES.
