" 不同于可以储存多组指纹的 Touch ID，首现于 iPhone X 的 Face ID 只能辨识一组面孔，换言之，就是只有拥有者才可以透过 Face ID 来解开手机。但苹果没有在 WWDC 2018 的台上告诉你的是，从 iOS 12 开始就可以在 Face ID 加入「替代外观（alternative appearance）」，让一些在打扮后会有乔装效果的朋友，或是会有需要让其他人透过 Face ID 解开手机的用户选用。
