Hello friends of Steemit, today I want to talk about various aspects that I have noticed about Steemit with the time I have been here.
When we started at Steemit we thought that things are one way, but with the passing of time, we realize that it works in a completely different way.
Without further ado, let's go straight to the point.
1) Reputation = Quality content.
This is completely false, the reputation represents only the profits obtained either by your publications, comments and / or healings; easily the reputation can be manipulated with the use of bots and these do not necessarily take into account the quality of a post.
So do not get carried away 100% by the reputation of a user, this does not show if your content is really good or not.
2) Quality is something relative.
The quality in Steemit, depends on the point of view of who sees it, it may be an excellent post for some and not for others. Do not be discouraged if a publication that you did with much love and effort, did not obtain the expected recognition, it may be due to other factors such as:
- Promotion.
- Publication schedule.
- Tags used
- Title.
- Image.
- Popularity.
There are many very important factors that can affect your publication, not just the "quality" of it. The only important thing is that you are proud of the ones you share in Steemit.
3) Most users have used bots.
A large majority in Steemit (not all), ever in their lives as users have made use of the so-called "bid bots" in their translation as the voting bots, which help you in various aspects such as:
- Publication in Trend.
- Publication in Alza.
- You get Steem Power (SP).
- Increase in reputation
- You get SBD / Steem.
- Possibility of having greater profits.
- Greater notoriety in the network.
Of course, some may no longer use them and others may, but the reality is that most of us have ever tried them to see how they work, whether they really benefit us or not.
4) More followers = More votes.
It is not entirely true, many when we were in our first days in Steemit, we followed other users just to follow us back and get more followers.
It does not benefit us at all to obtain a large number of followers, what really matters is how many of those followers read what we write and share in the community.
Focus on gaining followers for your work and not for other activities, with your content, your publications and your contribution to the community, you will gain followers who care about your work.
To end.
So far today's post, I do not want to make the publication as long and extensive as the last ones I have been sharing in recent days.
There are many other realities about Steemit, as time goes on we realize how things really work, it's a matter of adapting and moving forward according to the system.
