Lonely Evenings

Hollowness echoes through a deep pit

Scores of moments championed
Yet still a consistent residue of emptiness

An abundant treasure to be discovered

Unknown land to approach
Leap of faith spirits are embraced
For greatest wealth may be uncovered

Light found in a forever shade

Slowly glissading upon thee
Approaching a full eclipse
Submerged beauty will not fade

Immured affection thou has released

Discovered love cherished forever
The evenings forward filled with peace
Our lonely evenings have finally ceased
