OK, I must apologize, I was born in Oakland CA and grew up in Hayward, CA. I have lived to see both sides of "That" coin concerning the pluses and minuses of Calif. living. Bad Schooling, highest poverty rate,, Clearly "Michael Snyder" has never gone to Mississipi or Alabama when it comes to poverty or schooling.
I truly am sorry but the author of this article NEVER lived or had a life. Califonia is the 6th largest economy IN THE WORLD and pays federal taxes accordingly. COLA is extreme and I won't dispute that. Wild Fires are due mainly to the folks who put in "NON-native plants to look pretty. Oh Yeah, the Federal Government doesn't want to give CA. emergency aid since it is a Dem. State.
Ah Well, I gotta quit, Sorry for raining on Mr. Snyder's parade and rant about CA, but he really should look at Beijing's traffic sometime..
