@builderofcastles, for the most part you are very correct! However what you missed is that AOC wants to tax everyone fairly. For instance the wealthiest family in America earned $650 Billion the year before last. How much did they pay in taxes? I am not talking about "Corporations", just a family. They paid exactly $0.00 and got a tax return of over $350 Million. Just taking away the tax breaks that the drumpfster put in place would save this country over $2.4 Trillion annually.
