Hello, fellow Splinterlands players! It's been a good while since I've made a post, so I thought I'd make one on what's been occupying a lot of my time recently - our favorite game! I thought I'd take a look back at last season, take a look at the current season in a few days, and take a look at the coming seasons once they wrap up so I'd have a great snapshot of how my earnings changed as the game did.

I don't think of myself as a good player - just persistent. Which is a little bit kinder than my guildmate @xsuilx put it when he endearingly called me a bot, lol. I made a point in the current season we're in now to improve my win rate and stop the deathcycle of losses that tend to accumulate as one gets deep into a loss streak. Nothing's worse than doubling down when you're sinking in a pile of shit.
And now we really have to pay attention to ECR, too! Gone are my human-as-a-bot days. But that probably won't be apparent until our first season of RR :-D

Overall my rewards were an average haul, but as always, I would have loved to snag a legendary or two - although I'll never complain about grabbing a couple Gold Foils! One more regular season's rewards to go before Ranked Rewards and then we'll really see some interesting changes.

I've been investing heavily into rental cards as the bot farms (I presume) have dumped cheap rewards cards on to the market. It's my hope that these investments will only grow over time in rental revenue + card value and allow me more opportunities in the future.

I've had the same philosophy with SPS as with rental cards. To me, these areas seem like two of the best places for me to invest in Splinterlands... and I got in late to the airdrop, and now the clock is ticking...!
