Is it just me? Or does 20% APR on HBD savings on Hive offer so many wild opportunities that most aren’t aware of? I really think so.

I don’t know if I’m thinking about this well, but HBD savings offering 20% Apr in a world where such interest is unimaginable really does seem like a honey pot to me that could be used in many ways.

What majority of these CeFi platforms do is custody peoples funds and offer them different rates of interest, they take the funds and trade or invest in other platforms, compound the funds and make profit and split the profit in form of interest.

The business ends up being sustainable depending on the strategy of their business.

Enter Hive.

HBD’s security is super advanced and the sustainability of its interest rate in check. 20% is a whole lot in tradFi. How about a business that offers 15% interest but in form of NFT’s. How do you generate 15%? Through HBD.

HBD offers 20%, you give the investor 15%, send 2% to DHF( as sign of good fate), keep 3% or reinvest it. How?

Sell NFT’s as membership proof.

Do a one time sale of limited edition NFT’s through Whitelisting participants in order to curb bots or something. Holding these NFT’s will simply grant the owner the access to receive the interest every month.

There will probably be only 100 available, the minting price will be $1000 and will increase by 250$ after every 38% are sold. First 10 or 30 will be fully insured by personal fund to show trust in the system.

Every dollar made from sale will be saved in HBD and every holder will begin to recieve their interests per month generated by HBD savings.

Maybe there will be other game theory added to make the NFT have dynamic pricing after minting. Maybe the interests rates will be based on several rarities. Or the interest rates fixed and other incentives based on rarity.

Most NFT’s have empty promises or no tangible rewards for holding them, in my head, the least your pfp nft should do for you is earn you some sort of returns, 15% is quite on the high side, it leaves room for adjustment.

Also, the NFT’s can be gamified in other ways that will make it have secondary market value. So while you’re being proud of flaunting your ape you bought or minted, you also know you’re earning some interests from it and maybe some other perks.

People want to try their hands on having the highest interests rates so they will probably mint a lot. They can list their NFT’s for sale, and new owners will continue to hold or sell them if they are bided for and stuff like that.

Also, the genesis owners will be able to request for distress sale without waiting for bid. The owner will get back only the original minting price and not the market value price.

Ofcourse this is very sketchy plan. I just think it’s an interesting imagination. What do you think?
