Hi guys, I see discussions relating to having other businesses outside crypto, should crypto go to zero.
You can鈥檛 find me in such discussions. Why? Crypto is not going to zero and the business I need to build to fund my life and travel desires are right here in crypto.
It鈥檚 not a matter of being comfortable, I love what I do, I sincerely and honestly love what I do, I love that I can explore protocols, find my way around them, share my experiences and help people too and I love that it pays.
Coming from a Computer science background, I鈥檝e had my fair share of coding exercises, I built a couple of websites, my biggest task one time was building a website for a company that wanted their website to look exactly like something they found online, luckily for me, they paid for a Wordpress theme so all I had to do was redesign it.
I took it apart in about a week and got the website up, it was Wordpress so all I had to do was copy all the code into notepad to edit, till I got the entire thing rebuilt.
I liked that experience but its been nothing close to how I feel when I explore blockchain protocols and share my experiences both online and offline.
I鈥檝e delved in many other coding tutorials that died off along the way because at some point everything was suddenly gibberish. But coding is not off the table for me, I very much believe it will have its time at some point...
Moving on...
So this is who I鈥檝e been, I鈥檝e been living on crypto for 4 years, I鈥檝e discovered several protocols that generate passive income for me which I use to fund my life and venture into other investments, I survived the most horrible bear market in history.
I try to be very disciplined with how I spend and where I spend, I take time to review protocols, I go for the projects that resonate with me and what I think the world needs the most, I take the risks, and share my story....
I鈥檝e come to realize that it鈥檚 like a cycle that can never end, the stories keep coming, and I keep growing, in knowledge of said protocols, things that billions of people have no idea of, ofcourse when you have knowledge and use it, your 10$ today will one time become $100, and $500, and $1000
This has been my life in crypto, I came into crypto with zero, bought with fiat at some point but nothing compared to what I鈥檝e gotten back, I鈥檝e built myself a cool portfolio of investments, growing, in a world where 70% people can鈥檛 afford $500 emergency money, I鈥檓 still looking to do more and I鈥檓 sharing my experiences along my journey.
Sharing my convictions, discoveries, hopes, fears, wins and losses and lessons, typically laying out my blueprint, for the world. Helping anyone of the billions of people who鈥檒l care to follow.
I want to be able to live comfortably everywhere I travel to and I plan to do that a lot, I know it won鈥檛 come easy and thats why I鈥檓 committed to building that capacity through discovering as many avenues present in the blockchain space. This is my career. Call it what you may.
I might not be the best yet, but I鈥檓 very much working my way on being on top of this game, this is my focus, presently. The more I use these protocols , the more knowledge I get, then maybe at some point the department of finance in South Africa will request for me on an all expense paid trip to share with their finance team how to use Polycub or play Splinterlands or explain Thorchain or something else.
Jokes but yeah, You feel me.
I鈥檓 putting up a CV in my head, it鈥檚 something like.
Cryptocurrency investor
Blockchain explorer
Crypto blogger and LeoFinance blog curator
Freelance crypto tech support
Blockchain gamer(Splinterlands)
Aspiring fund manager
And whatever else comes as a result of any of these.
Whether these Job titles already exist or not as a real thing, this is the path I choose to achieve financial freedom, and I鈥檝e been at this for 4 years, certainly somethings are working. Unless the internet is shut down, crypto is not going anywhere. Crypto is the future of finance and technology. We are barely 12years in. There鈥檚 no going back now.
For me, I鈥檓 just getting started.
