Genius not Genius
People are quick to say everyone is a genius in a bull market whether or not you actually have an idea of what you’re doing.
At the end of the day, it’s the stories you make out of the market movements that matter the most, it’s very little about if you were right or wrong, we are in the “ ‘everyone and their grandmas cat will say the market will go up and be right’ season”, what proves your uniqueness is your story.
Tell a great story about it, did it go down, did it go up? tell a great story, add a splash of forecast, add your personality and sauce, it’s these stories that will build your audience and make them stay or go.
Creating crypto content 101
That’s something I’ve learnt around this space. There’s this guy follow on Twitter, he likes to do TA and prediction, and a lot of time he’s right, he was wrong recently and people started to go all ham on him talking about how he is shit! but not me, infact I love that I’m following him even more now.
Because I’ve caught a glimpse into him that is beyond the result of his predictions through his stories.
Take edicted as an example, edicted has been wrong many times in his predictions, but he has also been right too a few times, for me, it’s more than he being right or wrong it’s about the story, how he tells it, what surrounds it,
the passion he has for the crypto space, and the insights he provides. It's his unique perspective and the way he weaves his thoughts and experiences into each post that keep me coming back.
Similarly, the value of content creation in crypto isn't solely in predicting the next big move.
It's about educating, entertaining, and engaging with your audience. It’s about building an audience then growing that audience into a community
this storytelling aspect of content creation is crucial because it humanizes the often complex and impersonal world of cryptocurrency.
It turns abstract charts and figures into narratives that people can connect with on an emotional level.
Create responsibly
So, next time the market takes an unexpected turn, whether good or bad, remember that it's an opportunity to tell a story. Share your reflections, your forecasts, and even your doubts.
The authenticity in acknowledging both your hits and misses not only builds credibility but also creates a more engaging and supportive community.
Today in the market - Bull
Bitcoin pulled a number we’ve not seen in a long time, all of a sudden it seemed like there was more demand for bitcoin than what was supplied to the market, the price of Bitcoin touched $60k for the first time in over two years….
…and my life flashed before my eyes! Literally..
Do I have enough tokens? Am I ready? Will I miss this again? What can I sell to buy more, I’ve put all I already have into one token or the other, is it enough? Do I sell my kidney? Do I sell my father?
These are the frantic thoughts that danced through my mind as Bitcoin ascended like a phoenix from its ashes.
In the midst of this euphoria, I also had a moment of clarity. Most of the action we are getting now is from TradFi, major retail still hasn’t caught on, Nation states still haven’t caught on,…..
…. inasmuch as everyone wants to be prepared, how about dealing with the regret of selling too early that comes with it? It's about making informed decisions, not just reacting to price movements.
This years bull run is nothing like we’ve ever seen before, first reason I say this is because of the amount of capital and legitimacy Bitcoin is having due to ETF approvals, second reason is because this is the first time Bitcoins price will recover or almost recover it’s all time high before the halving, hence my question, is Bitcoins History Being Rewritten?
So to answer those frantic questions that flashed through my mind—yes, I am ready. Ready not because I have all the capital I desire or because I've perfectly timed the market, but because I understand that this journey is about more than just profits, principles of life are applicable here.
store up grain during the years of abundance to prepare for the years of famine. Gen 41-47. Remember the story of Joseph and Pharaoh?
In essence I’m choosing to ride the wave out, to make the best of it all the way up, to create the best stories out of it, to give my readers the best reading experience they won’t find elsewhere.
