Every crypto degen has at one point in time or the other felt pain from the price actions of their bags either as a result of hacks, never ending blood bath in a bear market, or some dumps out of the ordinary. But what separates a degen from a pleb is the belief in their bags.
What makes up belief in one bags stems from in-depth understanding of the project鈥檚 the bags are derived from. The sting of max pain comes when one sells the bottom of their bags out of frustration or fear only for the bag to start to recover and pump.
This is a mistake that stings more than holding a dumping bag. It causes max max pain. It simply means the holder wasn鈥檛 convinced enough about the purpose of why they were investing in what they were investing in and also means they perhaps didn鈥檛 do their own research.
Doing one鈥檚 research and being convicted in one鈥檚 investment choices is the true crypto degen way, another difference between a degen and pleb is that one knows why and is confident and convicted in what they are holding come what may and the other doesn鈥檛.
A true crypto degen also understands that pain and pleasure are two sides of a cycle that cannot be altered. Max pain = Max pleasure. To be a true crypto degen is to gracefully accept both sides and carve out patterns to live with them.
A true crypto degen buys the dip during the bears and eats the bulls when they come. A true crypto degen welcomes both waves and rides them with pride.
