Hello, lovely steemians!
It's Wednesday, and that means the Wednesday Walk Challenge! This challenge, hosted by @tattoodjay, does not necessarily make me walk more than I normally would (I am quite active generally and reasonably lazy in winter), but it motivates me to look at my surroundings with different eyes and look for interesting and/or beautiful things to photograph , so I can share them with you here.
Last night I took a short walk at waterfront, here in Toronto. The evening was cold, but the scenery kind of picturesque. I didn't dare to walk further on the boardwalk - it was icy and slippery and I didn't want to risk an extremely cold bath.
Cruise ships are docked in partially frozen water - from this angle it looks like they are just parked on the street.
But here you can see them floating on the water.
I like this composition with a boat in the front and buildings in the background that fit so well together, they visually form one structure.
I wasn't joking when I wrote that the water is frozen (not whole lake, just the dock where the water forms smaller pools).
How about you, steemians? Did you manage to take a walk recently? Or do you have any memorable pictures from your previous walks that you would like to share here?
Thanks to wonderful @tattoodjay for hosting the #wednesdaywalk challenge.
