I don't know how you organize home learning lessons BUT personally, I'm still dealing with making a real plan I can follow for my toddler's home education. Usually, we do our learning activities depending on time, mood, season, that day's interests and new things my little one observes, etc.
I guess I didn't struggle to get 100% organized about a REAL LEARNING PLAN because Caleb was little but for now on, I have to put more energy and focus to create one.
Sometimes I do get to organize myself and have in mind what we want to learn. So, from time to time, I choose one learning theme and then do 2-3 activities on that specific theme.
This one right here, is an activity we did for learning and consolidation Seasons Theme.
Since my baby boy likes to paint (a lot) I though this paint art activity is just perfect for him. It's really easy to make, if you look closely. What we actually did was to talk about seasons and their nature changes, weather and mostly about trees and how they can be representative for each season: Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter.
Art Classes are so soo good for the little ones. Kids get to be creative, use their imagination, also painting requires some skills so this way you can try develop the child's fine and gross motor skills.
I like to use books and educational materials and I am SO GRATEFUL we have a lot of them and MORE IMPORTANT: I can use them with my boy. He is so patient, he is so interested looking through the books with me, asking for explanations and also listening my answers.
So, you'll need a A3 size paper (A4 works too), divide it in four and then color 4 trees.
You'll also need a wine cork and acrylic paint (or tempera colors).
We chose white for Winter Tree, Pink color for Cherry Blossom Tree, Green color for the Summer Tree and Orange, Yellow and Brown for Rusty Autumn Tree.

So, what do you think? We have some more alike, I'll post them some day!
But feel free to be creative and make this activity in your own way. You can use colored pencils, wax crayons, watercolors, carioca. You can also glue some colored paper instead of making big dots like these etc.
