Hello everyone,
I hope you are all well. 馃檭
I'm really busy these days, but I'm glad I found some time today to put these photos all together in this post here. This way I can contribute to the contest held in Outdoors and More Community. I hope to be in time though! 馃檲
The contest is about posting beautiful scenary photos and natural landscapes.
This time I chose to share Beautiful Scenaries from Greece, pictures taken by me, except the ones I'm in them haha.
Seeing all these photos once again, I noticed how my photography skills had improved over the years.
Well, this Island has a wild vibe. Back then, in 2014 I used to take photos with my Nikon Coolpix. I had an old iphone and that was it.
If I'd go today again, I'm sure I would collect amazing photographs. But even so, these pictures below are beautiful enough and you can imagine how this place looks.
Same as Thasos, this beautiful place is a wonderful combination of sandy beaches, blue water, hills, cliffs and luxurious pine forests.
You can see the pines and the blue water. The contrast of these two is breath taking.
You can't get here unless you do a short hiking. This beach is wild and there are just a few tourists. We visited here only at sunset.
It was a spectacular view.
Thassos is also called the green island of Greece. It has nature, mountains and luxurious coniferous orests and lots of olive grooves.
We visited twice because it was that kind of place you want to return at.
It was just like that.
The feeling! The vibe! 馃挋
Its not just a regular vacation destination. Me and my husband, we both felt we could actually live here. At least for a couple of months a year. And in fact, we consider that maybe one day we'll buy a property here.
This is one of my favorite places to photograph. It just makes it easy. No need for skills. The landscape is enough.
As the name says it, this beach is a true paradise. Long sandy beach with clear blue water, ready to amaze you.
The water is warm in the hot season, which makes it even more perfect than it is already.
If you saw the first photos shared already, you maybe will notice that these photos taken four years after first time in Thassos are something else. I consider I improved my photography skills. It's not a big deal, I'm not a pro. But I think that now, I "have an eye" to look for that something when taking photographs. I am aware that I have to center the whole landscape, not just randomly press the button to take a picture.
In my previous years visiting Greece I did a LOT of photos but I can't choose ten of them. I was terrible taking photos. You cant even imagine. 馃檲馃檲
Anyways, last year in Thassos was amazing. And as I said it already, this island has it all: Mountains, Beach, Beautiful blue water, Lake, Olive Grooves, Waterfalls, Exotic trees and coniferous trees. Perfect mix, perfect place.
This is the highest peak in Thassos.
We went there by car, we rented a buggy. The road leads through besutiful pine forests and olive grooves. The road was bumpy and sometimes, scary.
But the landscape up high is so beautiful, totally worth it. It was a bit windy when we visited, but it was still fine.
You can see the sea, the beaches, the land. I loved it.
Maries Lake and waterfall are located in a beautiful place, somewhere close to the centeer of the island.
Again, we passed through wide olive grooves to get here.
The waterfall is in the middle of a meadow, just a few meters from the small lake of Maries. The lake has a beautiful greenish color, but its also clear.
We enjoyed our little walk in these places.
One of the best beaches on the island.
The beach has tiny marble pebbles on it and its located just near the most famous beach in the whole Thassos, called Marble Beach.
I know them both, I think Vathi beach has that unique vibe and design where time stops. You just want to enjoy the view.
White beach and turquise water!
What a great combination!
This! 馃尨馃彎 This is my favorite landscape and view of all! I FELT this is Hawai! I was like WWoooowwwW! I wanna move here! Now!
I hope these photos are covering what the topic was about, and not sharing rubish 馃檲. Maybe I added to many photos or too many photos alike, but its just me. This is how my heart felt when writing and sharing with you all these amazing views in Greece.
Thanks for this contest, I enjoyed reading and seeing amazing scenaries from all over the world .
Stay safe,
Missdeli 馃挋
