If you have never been to the Caribbean, that’s unfortunate but you may have heard something from the islands. This song called Caribbean Sky was born out of my band members recent trip to Jamaica.
Since I’m the only Jamaican in the band of six , the other members wanted to experience the isles for themselves. Their report was good , they went and got a real taste of the food , music and of course a chance to touch the culture.
Spirits , domino’s, food and dance.
This instrument piece probably embodies I most people’s image of The Caribbean. It’s groovy and makes you want to shake your legs. I have a feeling I might add lyrics to it. Now that I think about it , it’s the sound I like when I go to cricket matches at Sabina park. I can almost see people enjoying a little jig to this at the calypso or carnival settings.
