How are all my gaming friends? When the clock ticked, the old season of Splinterlands was over, and the new season had begun. Since then, a different excitementhas beens working in my mind. As a gamer, this time is like Eid for me. Starting everything anew, the desire to see my name on the leaderboard and, of course, the end-of-season rewards, all in all, a strange love.
Of course, the season has been started for two days. And in this season, my journey started from 'Bronze II'. The goal is very clear, anyway, I have to reach the landmark of 'Silver III' at the beginning of this session. And today I am sharing the story of this journey, struggle and achievement with you.
The moment before clicking the battle button is always a bit nerve-wracking. What kind of opponent will come? What ruleset will be played? Is my current deck strong enough? These questions keep running through my mind.
When I started playing, my ranking was low. Although the Bronze League fight may seem easy from the outside, those who play regularly know how fierce the competition is here. Especially in the 'Modern' format, real players' strategies are much more difficult than bots. I decided not to rush. I would only arrange my cards after looking at the opponent's previous five matches in each match.
My first goal was to maintain a win streak. Because once you can build a winning streak in Splinterlands, your rating will increase quickly, and your confidence will be high.

As you can see from my screenshots, I've been fighting on both fronts this season. But my main focus has been on the Modern League.
The Modern Mode Roller Coaster:
The path from Bronze 2 to Bronze 1, and from there to Silver, has not been smooth at all. I've played a total of 37 battles. Out of these, I've won 23 matches and lost 14.
While playing the matches, I've been keeping an eye on my win rate. I was a little relieved to see a 62.16% win rate. That means I'm winning 2 out of every 3 matches. Especially my Max Streak 7 moment was the best moment of the season. At that time, it seemed like nothing could stop me. Currently, my rating is 960, which is knocking on the door of the Silver League (1000 rating). Only 40 points difference, and then the desired Silver League!
On the other hand, in Frontier mode, I am in the Gold League. I have played 43 matches there and won 25. The experience there is different, but in the Modern League, it is different to arrange big strategies with small cards.

The main motivation behind playing so many matches at the beginning of the season is the 'reward chests' or prize boxes. After each victory, when the sound of opening the chest is heard, the heart rate increases—it seems that a legendary card or gold foil card has come out!

I have opened several chests on my journey to Silver. You can see those rewards in my screenshots. Honestly, this time's achievement did not disappoint me.
1. Palimpsest Prophet (Rare):
When this card came out of the chest, I was quite surprised. It is a rare card. Its artwork and abilities will help to increase the power of my deck. It can be very effective, especially against magic attacks.
2. Oshannus Unmade:
This card from Water Splinter is as scary to look at as it is in action. Although it is a common card, it can turn the tide of the game if positioned correctly.
3. Husk of the Hunter:
When I got this huge 9 mana card, I thought it would be my trump card in high-mana battles. Itsarmourr and health combination make it quite suitable for surviving on the frontline.
4. Grim Bonewhip & Magmaforged:
These cards have diversified my collection. Especially Magmaforged's fire element matches my attacking style quite well.
5. Chest Full of Resources:
Along with the cards, I got a lot of Merits and Potions. I'm especially saving the Legendary and Gold portions for my next pack opening. And with it came the Glint Boost, which helped me earn more tokens with each win. As you can see in the screenshot, I was getting around 168 Glint tokens with each win, which is helping to increase my assets.
This journey from Bronze 2 to Silver 3 was not just about playing the game; it was a test of patience. There were many times when I lost two matches in a row, and I was in a bad mood. I felt like quitting the game. But then I regrouped with renewed enthusiasm and snatched the victory.
In my current profile, MIRZAIQ, I now feel much stronger. Only 1 day has passed into the new season; there are still more than 13 days left. My goal now is to solidify my position in the Silver League and, if possible, move towards the Gold League.
For those of you who are playing Splinterlands, my advice is - don't give up. Replay the matches you lost, understand where you went wrong. And rely on your best cards to maintain your winning streak.
I hope you are also inspired by my short journey and rewards. See you on the Battle Grounds, with another League victory story!
