How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well. Today, I want to discuss a new initiative in the cryptocurrency world with you. We usually focus heavily on the prices of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, but it is also crucial to consider future security and technological advancements.

Recently, Quantus launched trading capabilities for its native QTC token via Near Intents. What I find most interesting about this news is how the project aims to reach a wider user base while simultaneously addressing the future risks posed by quantum computing.

Quantus is a Proof-of-Work blockchain designed primarily to secure digital transactions against potential future attacks by quantum computers.

According to published reports, the Quantus mainnet launched on September 9, 2026. Its QTC token utilizes a post-quantum digital signature scheme known as ML-DSA. This technology is employed to mitigate security risks that could arise from powerful quantum computers in the future.

However, this does not mean that Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies are currently falling victim to quantum attacks; rather, it is a proactive measure against potential future threats.

Through Near Intents, users have the opportunity to acquire QTC using Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDC, and other digital assets. Reports indicate that this system integrates over 180 assets across more than 30 blockchains.

In my opinion, it is vital for new tokens to reach users easily. Not every project can easily secure a listing on major centralized exchanges; therefore, cross-chain trading can create alternative opportunities for new projects.

Since the Quantus network lacks its own smart contract functionality and decentralized exchange, this integration is particularly significant for them.

I believe that quantum-safe technology could become a crucial element of the blockchain landscape in the future. However, advanced technology alone does not guarantee a project's success; factors such as user trust, sufficient liquidity, ease of transactions, and practical utility are equally important.

While Quantus shows promise, its long-term success remains unproven. Therefore, monitoring its development and user participation is essential to evaluate the project's future.

What do you think? Will quantum-secure blockchain play a significant role in the future of cryptocurrency? Please share your thoughts in the comments.

Thank you all. Stay well and healthy.
