Hello splinterlands family. Fighting for a guild and participating in brawl battles in the Splinterlands game is always a great experience. Buying and opening a gladius case from the guild store with the merit tokens obtained from the guild brawl is one of the most interesting things for gamers. As always, this time too, I opened three gladius cases with my accumulated merit tokens. However, the amount of rewards this time was slightly less than in the past. The main reason for this was that the participation of users in our guild was slightly less. Naturally, if the participation in the brawl is less, the amount of merit earned also decreases slightly. Nevertheless, I decided to buy three packs with the amount of merit I had in my account. Below is a description of my experience of opening this pack and the cards I received.
The first screenshot shows that I had a total of 21,206 crowns and 6,497 merit tokens in my account. Each Gladius case costs 2,000 Merit Tokens. That works out to a total of 6,000 Merit Tokens to buy 3 packs, leaving me with 497 Merit. Usually, many people use a potion called 'Blood Stone' or 'Power Stone' to increase their chances of getting a Legendary or Gold Foil card when opening a Gladius case. But I didn't have enough extra Merit Tokens to buy these stones. So I decided to open three packs in a completely normal way, without any potions or boosters. With the packs, I entered the mana-well section and started revealing the cards.
The five Gladiator cards I received after opening the first pack are mentioned below:
After the first pack, I opened the second pack. The cards in this pack are as follows:
Finally, I open my third and final pack. The cards obtained from this pack are:
Cutter Brieze - A Rare card of the Water element with a cost of only 1 mana. It can provide excellent support in battles with a low mana limit.
Whistling Damon - A common card of the Death element (duplicate).
Isgald Vorst - A common card of the Water element with a cost of 5 mana. It has the Sneak and Bloodlust abilities.
Helmet Kharafax - A common card of the Life element (duplicate).
Alva the Crusher - A common card of the Life element with a cost of 6 mana, which is rich in melee attacks and good armor.
Overall, I got 3 rare cards (Relenor Cleaver, Cotripus Bane, and Cutter Bridge) and 12 common cards from these 3 packs. Although no gold foil or legendary cards came this time, the cards I received will still help strengthen the deck. Since the gladiator cards in the Splinterlands game are Soulbound, they cannot be directly transferred or sold, but they play a very important role in Brawl Battles and some special rulesets in regular ranked matches (such as "Are You Not Entertained?"). Especially when these cards with the Bloodlust ability defeat the opponent, all their stats increase, which can turn the tide of the battle. Hopefully, the participation of our guild members will increase further in the next Brawls and we will be able to collect more rewards.
