Hola, quiero decirles que me siento muy emocionada y alegre de estar compartiendo esta segunda semana de este festival. Estar rodeada de tantas personas talentosas y que además con sus hermosas palabras y bellos comentarios ha resultado en una experiencia muy bonita para mí.

Al hacer mi primera participación de inmediato supe que quería hacer algo movido, que mostrara la otra parte de mi que por mucho tiempo ni yo sabía cómo mostrar, la verdad es que no me gustaba interpretar temas movidos porque simplemente no sabía cómo hacer, me daba pena y no me atrevía, pero fue algo que empecé a practicar y todo fue fluyendo, hasta que ahora puedo decir que me siento muy cómoda con canciones con un ritmo más rápido.

Hello, I want to tell you that I feel very excited and happy to be sharing this second week of this festival. Being surrounded by so many talented people and also with their beautiful words and beautiful comments has resulted in a very nice experience for me.

When I made my first participation I immediately knew that I wanted to do something moving, to show the other part of me that for a long time I didn't even know how to show, the truth is that I didn't like to interpret moving songs because I simply didn't know how to do it, I was embarrassed and I didn't dare, but it was something that I started to practice and everything was flowing, until now I can say that I feel very comfortable with songs with a faster rhythm.

Al ser una persona introvertida he tenido que trabajar en mi puesta en escena, uno de los mejores consejos que he recibido es estudiar siempre la canción, no nada más a nivel musical, la letra y el contexto también importan y muchísimo, porque de ahí podemos tomar la idea para interpretar el papel que nos corresponde, a veces tenemos que cantar algo completamente diferente a lo que somos y para mí eso es lo mágico de la música que nos cuenta miles de historias, colores, texturas que para mí será una aventura que estaré dispuesta a conocer y a vivir.

Así que para esta ocasión decidí ponerle un poco más de sabor con dos canciones de "Celia Cruz" una mujer que desbordaba carisma, talento y alegría en todas las canciones que interpretaba, para mí tienen un significado especial pues mi infancia se vió arropada por su música, de hecho en la escuela hacíamos competencia de bailes con sus temas ¡Que recuerdos tan hermosos y coloridos!

Bueno sin más nada que agregar espero que ustedes puedan disfrutar de esta presentación que como siempre lo hago, es con mucho cariño.

Being an introverted person I have had to work on my staging, one of the best tips I have received is to always study the song, not only at a musical level, the lyrics and the context also matter and very much, because from there we can take the idea to play the role that corresponds to us, sometimes we have to sing something completely different from what we are and for me that is the magic of music that tells us thousands of stories, colors, textures that for me will be an adventure that I will be willing to know and live.

So for this occasion I decided to put a little more flavor with two songs of "Celia Cruz" a woman who overflowed charisma, talent and joy in all the songs she interpreted, for me they have a special meaning because my childhood was wrapped by her music, in fact in school we did dance competitions with her songs, what beautiful and colorful memories!
