[Esp/ Eng] ¡Ganamos un festival de Bandas! / Les cuento todo 😍

Saludos a toda la comunidad, espero que se encuentren bien, hoy les traigo algo totalmente diferente a lo que estoy acostumbrada a publicar en hive y para serles honesta la alegría se me desborda por compartir con ustedes una experiencia que tuve este fin de semana que me tiene muy emocionada y expectante.

Hace poco audicioné para la banda cristiana dónde mi esposo es guitarrista y a la cuál hoy soy miembro como corista, es decir hago los coros, han Sido muchas semanas de largos ensayos pues nos dedicamos hacer música con ritmos latinos y hemos versionado temas cristianos muy conocidos pero poniendo nuestro estilo para poner a todos a bailar.

El nombre de la banda es Horeb music y este sábado 19 fuimos invitados a participar en un festival llamado Yahweh y el premio de dicho evento sería abrir el concierto que dará Alex campos el 1 de diciembre en nuestra ciudad, para quienes no sepan, este artista es uno de los mayores exponentes de la música cristiana y para mí uno de los mejores, lo escucho desde niña y amo muchas de sus canciones.

Nos tomamos este desafío muy enserio, trabajamos de manera responsable y nos esforzamos durante varias semanas para obtener buenos resultados. Ese sábado estuvimos desde temprano afinando detalles, una de las cosas que me encantó es que este festival se celebró en la bahía de puerto la cruz, tuvimos una vista hermosa hacia el mar y para nuestra fortuna nuestra sala de ensayos quedaba a pocos metros del lugar del concierto lo que hizo mucho más cómodo el traslado de los instrumentos.

Fueron 11 bandas las invitadas y cada una tenía solo 20 minutos para presentar y demostrar todo lo necesario para resultar los ganadores de ese tan anhelado premio. El concierto fue pautado para la 5:00 de la tarde pero por detalles técnicos se aplazó la hora y comenzó a un poco más de las 6:00pm, Nosotros aún seguíamos en nuestra sala de ensayo preparándonos, y luego llegamos al lugar.

Podíamos sentir la buena energía, la gente estaba muy emocionada y las bandas que pudimos escuchar sonaron muy agradables, conforme pasaban las horas ya nos estábamos poniendo ansiosos, sentía que el tiempo pasaba súper lento, ya estaba agotada de tanto esperar y sólo quería subir hacer lo que tanto había ensayado.

Aproximadamente a las 10:45 empezamos a subir a la tarima, primero los músicos hicieron acto de presencia y las voces aguardamos abajo porque es parte de nuestro show, se colocó un vídeo de intro que pueden apreciar en el video que les comparto, quiero decirle que esa introducción es una de mis partes favoritas, la percusión y esos sonidos en los instrumentos dejan al público expectantes de lo que va a suceder.

Fueron los 20 minutos más espectaculares que he vivido en mucho tiempo, tenía años que no me montaba en una tarima y no vivía esta experiencia y por supuesta estaba muy nerviosa pero todo salió excelente, el público estuvo muy receptivo, cantaron y bailaron con nosotros de principio a fin.

Terminamos nuestra presentación y esperamos para escuchar los resultados del festival, con mucha alegría les digo que logramos ganar este festival 😍🎉 no tienen idea de lo que esto significa para nosotros, simplemente no hay palabras para expresar lo feliz que nos sentimos de representar a tantas bandas en el concierto de Alex campos.

Se vienen cosas bonitas, este es sólo el principio de muchas cosas que estamos preparando y yo me siento muy agradecida y orgullosa de pertenecer a este equipo que son como mi familia, músicos súper talentosos y que tienen un corazón humilde.

Greetings to all the community, I hope you are well, today I bring you something totally different to what I am used to publish in hive and to be honest the joy overflows me to share with you an experience I had this weekend that has me very excited and expectant.

I recently auditioned for the Christian band where my husband is a guitarist and which today I am a member as a backing vocalist, I mean I do the choirs, it has been many weeks of long rehearsals because we are dedicated to make music with Latin rhythms and we have covered very well known Christian songs but putting our style to make everyone dance.

The name of the band is Horeb music and this Saturday 19 we were invited to participate in a festival called Yahweh and the prize of this event would be to open the concert that Alex Campos will give on December 1 in our city, for those who do not know, this artist is one of the greatest exponents of Christian music and for me one of the best, I listen to him since I was a child and I love many of his songs.

We took this challenge very seriously, we worked responsibly and we worked hard for several weeks to get good results. One of the things that I loved is that this festival was held in the bay of Puerto La Cruz, we had a beautiful view of the sea and fortunately our rehearsal room was a few meters from the concert venue which made it much more comfortable to move the instruments.

There were 11 bands invited and each one had only 20 minutes to present and demonstrate everything they needed to be the winners of this long awaited prize. The concert was scheduled for 5:00 pm but due to technical details the time was postponed and started at a little after 6:00 pm, we were still in our rehearsal room getting ready, and then we arrived at the venue.

We could feel the good energy, people were very excited and the bands we could hear sounded very nice, as the hours passed we were getting anxious, I felt that time was passing super slow, I was already exhausted from waiting so much and I just wanted to go up and do what I had rehearsed so much.

At approximately 10:45 we started to go on stage, first the musicians made an appearance and the voices waited downstairs because it is part of our show, an intro video was played, I want to tell you that this intro is one of my favorite parts, the percussion and those sounds in the instruments leave the audience expectant of what is going to happen.

It was the most spectacular 20 minutes I have experienced in a long time, it had been years since I had been on stage and I had not lived this experience and of course I was very nervous but everything went excellent, the audience was very receptive, they sang and danced with us from beginning to end.

We finished our presentation and we waited to hear the results of the festival, with much joy I tell you that we managed to win this festival 😍🎉 you have no idea what this means to us, there are simply no words to express how happy we feel to represent so many bands in the concert of Alex Campos.

Beautiful things are coming, this is just the beginning of many things we are preparing and I feel very grateful and proud to belong to this team that are like my family, super talented musicians who have a humble heart.
