These photographs reveal a tiny handmade flower that is quietly placed before a stunning sunset.
What I wanted to do was to see how something small could acquire a special significance in the right lighting conditions.
The first photograph reveals how the flower, being captured up-close and set against a background of warm colors of the sky, becomes outstanding.
The second photograph is taken using an easy-to-make frame that creates another perspective of the flower making it the focal point of its own little universe.
Taking these photographs has been a joy for me, as it reminded me that beauty does not necessarily have anything to do with the size of the object.
