The other day, when you published this post, I read it but didn't have time to watch the videos. First of all, I am sorry for your loss... it is hard when great people who made so much for humanity with their work leave this world, and if they are friends, then it is even harder. However, I am glad you had a friendship with this man.
I am not surprised by what you say that he was a great person and that he was modest, that he didn't expect special recognition (although for sure he would deserve much more). Many times the greatest ones don't ask for recognition; they work first from the heart and for others. As you do too. 😉
