If only they would be my succulents...

... but they are not.

These beauties almost became mine when my hand was so tempted to have a small, tiny cutting. My eyes saw them in one huge community pot in a coffee shop. It was one morning, one of those when rain was still around, so the leaves of the plants were adorned with some raindrops on them. You will probably notice it, although the quality of the photos is questionable.

So, maybe it is better to correct myself: I hope you will be able to see those raindrops.

But even if you dont see those water drops, the variety of so many succulents can be seen, right? I loved that one with red leaves and those that grow like a tower. I again don't know names, I will just call them towers, yes. So those towers are so cute. That is what I wanted to take, maybe a leaf, of a small part of the tower itself, to plant it at home. The coffee shop was still closed, it would be a perfect occasion to have some new plants at home. However, before I reached them with that attempt, I saw someone already arrived to arrange the things inside the coffee shop... or to clean the place, I am not sure. So, rest assured, I didn't take anything.

No plant theft happened. Anyway, I am satisfied with my plants at home, you saw some of them in my last post about succulents. Also, the big Aloe Vera plant appeared there :)) Oh, here we are, arriving at the main topic of this post. Aloe Vera and the guessing game from last Sunday.

There I posted a photo with a measuring tape showing the number in cm but blurred. To remind us, the question was how tall is the plant, measured together with the flowerpot? It was fun, I have to admit. Several guesses arrived, some were very entertaining.

Hmmm 🤔. well judging by the building roofs in the back I'd say that its a pretty tall plant, at least 5 floors high...okay that was a really bad joke. Especially because the plant is in previous photos sitting on a table.
My guess is 946cm

Your aloe vera has so many flowers!! Must be the warm weather. One of mine has a little tip but nothing has come out of it. As to the height, I'm going to guess 94cm

We had a big Aloe Vera at home that also bloomed flowers last year. I don't know where it is after the storm hit our house. I would've measured its height to have a nice idea. But maybe 130 cm?

130cm was not a bad guess. but still, the game had to be continued.

Your plants are beautiful! I have a great greenthumb too, the plants in my living room are always luscious, even though I almost never water them! (Being plastic ones must be part of the reason, but it's a small detail that shouldn't demerit my gardening accomplishments XD)
About the challenge, I was starting to use Photoshop to unblur the image but it doesn't seem fair and I would hate to ruin your game so I will guess only using the red markers in the measuring tape, cm 138,73!

My plants received a compliment that they are beautiful, and not from anyone, but from experts like
@hive-183841, the community account of succulent growers. That is an honour for my small succulent balcony world! The take from the community was pretty high, as my mood too :)) 168cm.

Well, I hope you all had some fun too, and now you know the real answer. My Aloe Vera is 128 cm tall, and it is doing well. A bit more of those flowers opened, not many still. But we already know how does it look like. Maybe better for the end to show you the whole decoration wall of that coffee shop. Isn't it amazing? Seems that the owners are also some succulent growers or at least lovers :)
