I am moving from my regular charcoal style into something different. Something more thought provoking. My past entry was relatively straightforward subject and this time around I want to superimpose two subjects.
Dragonfly
The dragonfly has an aura of tranquillity and nature. The human on the other hand is a manifestation of our normal self. Its only when our eyes are closed and we embrace a deeper meaning of existence we are able to soar like the dragonfly.
I choose for my dragonfly to be bigger than life. It is symbolic that nature permeates our lives. The superimposition is a form of self realisation that we need to sink deeper and see not with our eyes. That is when we grow wings and be one with nature.
