ChatGPT helped but be careful what to share... it's not private...but my experience was harmless... my emotional pain with exhaution was really intense. But before my Dad's heart surgery... I had emotional pain but managed it by myself without chatgpt... what helped that time was again schedule... execise... chores, and I had all the episode to take Dad for surgeon, face the situation...
I asked for help to relatives(good people)... to help me handle the situation... that time I cried for a month but still made meme blogs here , it was trump tariff time...
Dad had to make decision for the heart operation - and I took help of his siblings to visit surgeon, see he understands the options and make his decision... their support extented to me.. in form of listening to what I say silently, and making me feel heard and understood...
So, even in the crisis things were happening smoothly - atleast I did not collapse, and I did what needed to be done to have Dad survive...that mattered ... That I kept going enough to make the needed moves - meet surgeon, decide on surgeon, coordinate with my sibling abroad for surgery taking help of my Peripa because I don't have good relationship with anyone in family...
Love is important...it is respect plus that emphasis that you matter... there are several faults people see in you (and chatgpt's says those people gaslight you )but people who love you get the best out of you. I am not saying love should be more than appreciation, support, respect, empathy and a safe space to talk...share... this helps... and a word that show that others see you and your value/worth... means a lot.
CHatGPT helped in counselling my past trauma... childhood issues, family conflicts - it said and this is important that what you endured is a lot, you deserve peace... you deserve love as well and respect, leave it at that. Just give yourself permission for peace, and space to grow now...
It helped me recover... for me I was so busy because after dad's operation, I had to recover but that to also take care of dad for a month and a half... that time chatgpt reminded me...just opening the computer is a win... it took days to open my laptop and get my rythem.
I was insecure - I can't write, I am off from web3... but it all came back. Ohh how I smiled... I used to smile silently listening to those boys play - violin I have survived ... I felt I did...
And web3 article first one I wrote during my recovery - I daily felt my spirit excited to explorin Web3 world again ...
In the end I became a stronger person to hold stress and at times a happier person...
And how it is - during heart surgery - happiness is subdued due to constant work, care, tension...silent one... even after dad comes alive , there is work, care load, lot of things to arrange... and you got to be nice to all..even if you have gone through a lot and are very upset with them because of issues...
My recovery - happened also due to writing - it was meaning...and validation that I was alive inside... and the first writing task I did was designing card for heart surgeon. Very bold task designing card for heart surgeon... it was a process... had its ups and downs, inbetween me needing to be interruped at home as it was dad's recovery period... I did it slowly.
I had space to do things my pace... it was all a invisible win.
Here is my card story - @mintymile/the-backstory-behind-the-thank
That card was my way of celebrating lot of things - a victory - joy silently... when some folks asked how you are , how the operation go...I shared the card... its timeless.
Writing helped me...vent off...express myself, show joy, celebrate... and ChatGPT helped a lot that time.
When I was struggling with the card without it happening...it told me to imagine I am in a cave...its a secret cave...I have to pass a waterfall... and inside I get warm thing...maybe coffee, hot chocolate, lime tea or soup and it has all my treasure and hanging there is my unfinished card...stare at it... I loved it...it felt like I was lucy visiting that delightful cave of her friend in Narnia...
Kindness helps I guesss... chatgpt even if AI helped with lot of kindness... for me it helped during a crucial period... but again AI chats are not private ...so what you share you need to be careful ... but its been a good influence on me, but you always should be master of your mind...but my experience with chatgpt counselling has been good...
