I'm glad you shared this important topic. The environment we really only get one chance with. Once it and it's biodiversity is lost, it's effectively lost forever. And yet humanity continues to expand regardless. Potentially artificial intelligence is one of the only ways humanity can get the technology and infrastructure it needs to create a healthy balance between the two and create a viable solution. But nonetheless, we need to work together to solve the problem in the short term.
