INTRODUCTION
blockchain and smart contracts have gained popularity as a result of the advantages it offers which are security and easy transactions without extra fees
But there are a few issues which have to be addressed so as to meet up with the increasing population of people making use of the blockchain

decentralization is not actually realized
Slow rate of transactions
High energy consumption

GoChain is a standalone blockchain and is the future of smart contracts platform, it's built on a foundation of improved etherum code base

GoChain's mission is to provide a scalable, low cost, energy efficient platform for digital currency and decentralized applications.

My design
I went directly to illustrate what GoChain has to offer which makes it outstanding

The image above shows how GoChain plans to achieve true decentralization, which is by spreading the nodes geographically across various regions

This would be achieved by changing the consensus algorithm from proof of work (POW) to proof of reputation (POR) this is an upgraded, stronger and more secure form of proof of authority (POA)
